Special Storytime with children’s author Trish Michael!

January 13 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Lowville author teaches kids about self care at local library, while giving to children in need TURIN, NY:
Trish Michael, Lowville author of 4 uplifting children’s picture books, will visit the Turin Library on January 13, 2024 at 10am to do book readings, sign books, answer questions about becoming an author and donate books to kids in need. The reading is geared towards children of all ages. Written in fun to read aloud rhyme, Trish’s books combine colorful and fun illustrations with important life lessons that strike a chord with preschoolers up to middle school age kids. Trish’s upbeat energy and interactive reading style creates a fun and engaging environment that leaves everyone feeling lighter and like they’ve learned something new. Titles she’ll share include: Find Your Happy – A delightful book that teaches kids how to be happy, even when life is hard LIGHT – A powerful and uplifting book about following your heart and being your own person. The Sorry Monster – A clever book that teaches kids how to say what the mean, and mean what they say. Visitors to the reading will also get a sneak peek at the authors not-yet-released 4th book, all about becoming your own superhero. There will be books for sale, free author signings and for every book purchased, a brand new book will be donated to a child in need. Trish Michael is an author, artist and three-time cancer survivor living in Lowville, New York. Having faced constant adversity — a single mom at 18, abusive marriage for 15 years, survived cancer three times — Trish distills her hard-won wisdom into fun to read children’s books that help kids (and adults) find their power (and their happy) amid trauma, hardships and just daily life
